Symptoms
One specific run of PRC: Generate Allocations Transactions ran for over 5 hours before completing in Error:
REP-1401: 'beforereport': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
Previous runtimes for this rule are always between 2 and 5 minutes, and nothing has changed in terms of the setup of the Rule.
This was working prior to upgrading from 12.2.5 to 12.2.9.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Use a Project Implementation Super User responsibility
> Run request "PRC: Generate Allocations Transactions"
