EBS: Login URL Inaccessible with application log showing "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError" messages (Doc ID 2810579.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to access the EBS login page frequently users are unable to get the login page
the following error occurs in the application.log file

ERROR
-----------------------

21/08/24 16:09:57.512 Internal server error
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded
21/08/24 16:17:04.698 Internal server error
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded
21/08/24 16:18:28.774 Internal server error
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue is intermittent can be reproduced with the following steps:
1.Give the EBS login URL in the browser to get the login page

2. URL does not display login page

3. Above error messages are seen in the application.log file
