Account Analysis and Drilldown is Not Sorting by Period Chronological Order After Upgrade to 12.2 (Doc ID 2811667.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from R12.1.3 to R12.2.X the General Ledger Account Analysis and Drilldown is not sorting results in chronological order.
On searching the results show in alphabetical order. Even when using the column sorting feature, users are getting the same alphabetical order sorting.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

On searching the results display by period chronological order.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using a General Ledger Responsibility.
2. Navigate to Inquiry -> Account Analysis and Drilldown.
3. Query the account balances needing to be reviewed by filling in the required parameters and selecting the Go button.
4. Note that the query results are sorted by Period name alphabetically and not in chronological order.

Changes

 Upgrade from 12.1.X to 12.2.X.
