Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When configuring a multi-leg scenario, extra Sell Shipments are created while performing action 'Build Sell Shipment From Buy Shipment'
Here the expectation is when performing the action 'Build Sell Shipment From Buy Shipment', for each Buy Shipment, only one Sell Shipment should be created
For example, one can demonstrate a scenario where extra sell shipments are created for a Multi-Leg scenario

Steps of replication:

--A multi-leg scenario where we have to transport the First shipment from location A to location B via TL mode.
--And the Second shipment will start from Location B to the Location C in LTL mode.
--Created 2 orders from Location A to Location C.
--After bulk plan 2 shipments are created on the Buy side.
--One in TL mode (Location A --> Location B) and another in LTL mode (Location B --> Location C).
--In this way, each shipment is associated to both the Orders.
--Now performing the action 'Build Sell Shipment From Buy Shipment', via. the below navigation
Buy Shipments -> Actions -> Shipment Management -> Utilities -> then Click Build Sell Shipment From Buy Shipment.
--For each Buy shipment, 2 Sell shipments are created.
--One for Order 1 and another for order 2.
--In this way, 2 buy shipments are associated with 4 sell shipments.

The requirement is that 1 buy shipment SHOULD built 1 sell shipment.
Hence, extra sell shipments will result into extra payment.
This behavior could also be observed via Agent action 'Build Sell Shipment From Buy Shipment'.
