Symptoms


When running depreciation for Tax book, the following error occurs

ERROR

APP-OFA-48208: fadpaa: before fadaid: method: has the value of STL.
APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 1 in fadaid

Cause: fadaid failed due to ORA-00001: unique constraint (FA.FA_DEPRN_DETAIL_U1) violated
.

The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was: and was executed from the file .
APP-OFA-47661: Error: Unable to insert into FA_DEPRN_DETAIL table


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Fixed Assets Responsibility 
  2.  Depreciation > Run depreciation
