Changing Assignment Information Fails with APP-PAY-07793 Error (Doc ID 2813386.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to update the assignment information that is used in the element link criteria, following error occurs.

APP-PAY-07793: The date earned must be within the effective dates of the entry.

The date earned of an entry must be a date within the payroll period to which the entry belongs.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS Manager responsibility
  2.  Go to Assignment form
     (N) People > Enter and Maintain > (B) Assignment
  3.  Update information that is used in the element link criteria.
  4.  Error occurs
