Symptoms

Encountering an error after opted in "DISABLE MESSAGE CREDENTIALS",
when running Shipping-Transportation outbound interface to send deliveries from EBS to Oracle Transportation Management(OTM).

ERROR
from Interface Trip Stop  log file:

from WSH OTM Raw audit file shows:

EXCEPTION
Invalid user name or password. Please try again



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User (or equivalent)
2. Navigate to : Shipping > Transactions > Interfaces
3. Choose Single Request - then select 'Shipping-Transportation outbound interface'

 

CHANGES
Applied <patch 32822419> per <Document 2726752.1>

  1. Then opted in "DISABLE MESSAGE CREDENTIALS", the concurrent program "Shipping-Transportation outbound interface - Child" completed with error.
