Is it Possible to Configure Multiple Buyers For Spot Buy Feature ? (Doc ID 2814660.1)

Goal

The spot buy feature requires us to have a single default buyer, in the "purchasing options"  in order to autocreate a PO from the spot buy requisition. (Step 2 in Doc ID: 2244708.1 What is Spot buy autocreate criteria)

Since there is only one buyer, for the PO's from all the requisitions raised by the spot buy requesters, Business feels that it is an audit and accountability issue.

Is it possible to have the requesters default as the buyer on the respective PO's
or
configure multiple buyers for spot buy feature?
