Under Manager Self Service Responsibility, when changing Last Name of an Subordinate in the Personal Information Page, got the Error Message "ORA-20001 Invalid phone type @ERRORTEXT" (Doc ID 2814950.1)

When manager tries to update last name of an Subordinate using Personal Information Page, following error appears


"ORA-20001 Invalid phone type @ERRORTEXT Cause: The value you have entered does not exist, is not date effective, or is disabled in the lookup table. (ERRORTEXT=Work)"


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login using "Manager Self Service" Responsibility.

2. Navigate to function "Personal Information".

3. In the launched people in hierarchy page, click on "Action" button against the Subordinate record whose last name needs a changed.

4. In the launched page, under the cluster "Basic Details" click on the "Update" button.

5. In the launched page, select the option "Enter new information because of a real change to the current details (e.g. because of a change in marital status)" and click on "Next".

6. In the launched page, update the Last Name value and when click on "Next", got the above error message displayed on the top of the page.
