Purchase Requisitions get stuck during the approval process with the following error found in associated workflow activities :
Activity (Display Name): AME_PROCESS_APPROVER_APPRV (Update Approval List for Approve using AME)
RESULT: #EXCEPTION
ERROR_NAME: -4061
ERROR_MESSAGE: ORA-04061: existing state of has been invalidated

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Issue could not be constantly reproduced, but when it happens, the following steps are performed :
1. (N) Purchasing Super user (or User) responsibility > Purchase Requisitions
2. Create a PR and submit it for approval.
3. PR gets stuck In Process during the approval process .
