Change Order Implementation Programs Performance Improvement (Doc ID 2816433.1)

On : 12.2.5 version, Change Management

Change Order Implementation Programs are running for more than 2hrs for a change order consisting of around 1200 to 1500 change items.

Oracle standard change order requests "Pre-Implementation in ECO implementation" and "Engineering Change Order Implementation" running long. User created change order for 1289 item for which the above two requests ran for approx. 2 Hours. Also, The program "Pre-Implementation in ECO implementation" is not running parallel for different users. One request is waiting for another to complete which is causing the delay in overall process.

"Pre-Implementation in ECO implementation" and "Engineering Change Order Implementation" runs shorter time.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Download Web ADI sheet, add the necessary item information to be updated and click on Upload 
2. On clicking the ‘Upload’ button , the Upload Parameters screen will pop up. Select ‘create New’ in the Change order list and click on ‘Go’.
3. The options to add details for the change order will be displayed
i. Select ‘Change Order’ from the ‘Change Order Category’ list and click on ‘Go’.
ii. Select ‘Change Order for any Attributes’ from the ‘Change Order Type’ list and click on ‘Go’.
iii. Provide any name for the Change Order in the ‘Change Order Name’ text field. After filling in the details , click on ‘Upload’ button to finally create the Change Order.
4. Wait for "Pre-Implementation in ECO implementation" and "Engineering Change Order Implementation" programs to completes normal.
