R12: Tax Is Not Getting Calculated On Payables Invoices (Doc ID 2816460.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to calculate the tax on Payables Invoice, user is getting below Error:-

Error Message:-

Payable could not calculate Tax due to: The system could not determine determine applicable Tax Rate for the Tax TH VAT TAX and tax status TH VAT STATUS STANDARD. Please contact your tax administrator to ensure..... When we create a new site for the same supplier it applies Tax.

Steps Taken

----------------

  1. (N) Payables => Invoices => Entry
  2. Enter an Invoice for an Old supplier
  3. Click on Calculate tax
  4. System throws an error
