UK: Can Off-Payroll Worker Indicator Be Updated Retrospectively?

There is a new employee who started post 6th April 2021. When the employee record was created, the 'Off-Payroll Worker Indicator' should have been set to 'Yes', but this wasn't done
People > Enter and Maintain > Assignment > Others > Extra Information > RTI Information > Off Payroll Worker Indicator.
The employee has since ran through multiple payroll cycles. Therefore, when user tries to apply the 'Off-Payroll Worker Indicator' he gets the following message:
'APP-PAY-78234: You can only set the Off-Payroll Worker Indicator to Yes on 06-April-2021, or on the assignment creation date if this date is after 06-April-2021 and there are no payments processed.'
This is expected behavior as user cannot update this field mid tax year, however, user wants to be able to correct this retrospectively for the whole tax year. How can this be achieved?
