OPM Accounting Pre-Processor is Giving "Cannot find Item Id <Item_ID> in Organization Id <Organization_ID>" for Items That are Not Used in the Organization (Doc ID 2819422.1)

Last updated on MAY 05, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Financials - Version 12.2.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer applied patch 31449247:R12.GMF.C to resolve performance issue in OPM Accounting Pre-Processor (OPP), but now they are getting errors like "Cannot find Item Id 123456 in Organization Id 789" when running for Production source, and they had not gotten these errors previously. These items are in fact not set up in this org, and they do not know why OPP is now looking for them when it did not before. Checking data for two of the items, they are not used in any batches in that org, and none of the formulas that use those items have recipes with either a blank validity rule or a validity rule for this org.
