Goal
If an employee changes their Federal or State Tax information after they have been processed in the Payroll Run but BEFORE Payroll Archive has started, a mismatch occurs on the Payslip regarding tax filing marital status, exemptions, etc. The calculated amount processed via the run is correct as per the active election at the time of the run; however, Payslip will display the latest filing status, exemptions, etc. This creates some confusion.
After the payroll run has processed but before the Payroll Archive has started, a user logs into Employee Self-Service and updates his/her Federal Tax information from Single to Married. The calculated deduction was done at the Single rate; however, what is displayed on the Payslip for Marital Status is Married.
Is there a profile setting that would have the Payroll Archive pull tax information as it was when the run occurred?
