EBS: Admin Server in hung state (Doc ID 2824278.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Admin server getting hang

When trying to check the status of admin server from backend after entering WebLogic username and password it is getting hang.

$ ./adadminsrvctl.sh status

You are running adadminsrvctl.sh version 120.10.12020000.11

Enter the WebLogic Admin password:
Enter the APPS Schema password:

It just hang here and does not write anything in the admin server logfiles as well

Same issue is seen when trying to stop/start the services

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Should get the status of the adminserver with the below command 

$ ./adadminsrvctl.sh status


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the following command: ./adadminsrvctl.sh status
2. Enter the WebLogic Admin password
3. Enter the Apps schema password

4. The session hang and does not display any message
