Trying to Update Performance Management Plan and Extend Appraisal Task End Date Errors: The Record Contains Stale Data (Doc ID 2826181.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:
For an existing Performance Management Plan, user is trying to update the pan and extend appraisal task end date and republish.
Below error is thrown in page when trying to publish:


Unable to perform transaction on the record.
Cause: The record contains stale data. The record has been modified by another user.
Action: Cancel the transaction and re-query the record to get the new data.



Steps to Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Navigation: HR Professional 4.0 responsibility>Performance Management
2.Go to Administration>Performance Management Plans
3.Query published plans and choose for example Performance Management Plan 2021/2022. Click Update
4.Go to step 3 and try to change Task End Date to a date in future
5. Click Next and Publish. Error occurs
