--ISSUE DESCRIPTION--

Importing items from excel for CREATE operation is not working and there is no error nor data in the item interface.

--STEPS TO REPRODUCE--
1. Create an import format (excel file) for an ICC display format
2. Populate item data in the excel file
3. Import the data
4. See that the EGOIJAVA item import program ended successfully
5. Query the item in the items interface or items base tables and no records are found
