Planned Cost for the Resource assignment not changing after changing the Rate in Rate schedule and Refresh cost rates is executed, why

Steps:

1.Go into the  Project Super User Responsibility  

2.Navigate to workplan -> current working version -> Update task ->Resource -> assign the Resource and enter the planned quantity .

3.Navigate to Project Costing Responsibility -> Expenditure -> pre approved batch -> Enter the actual quantity same as planned quantity .

4. Run the Below Concurrent Process .

a.PRC:distribute process

b.PRC:Update project and Resource Base Summaries

c.PRC:Update Project Performance Data 

4.Navigate to Expenditure -> Rate Schedule ->select the Rate Schedule -> Change the Rate Schedule for the employee .

5.Navigate to workplan -> current working version -> Update task ->select Resource ->select Refresh cost rates .
