APP-PQP-230661 Error Encountered When Attempting To Enroll UK Sickness Absences (Doc ID 2835638.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.9 R12.HR_PF.C.Delta.14 version, UK Absences OSP/OMP

When attempting to enroll any UK sickness absences,
the following error occurs on the screen.

ERROR
APP-PQP-230661: The batch process encountered an error while trying to create a log. The possible cause for this error are as follows:
1) Invalid Path
2) Invalid Mode
3) Invalid File handle
4) Invalid Operation
5) OS Error
Please ensure that environment variable APPLPTMP has been set to a directory that the concurrent manager's host can access in write mode.



STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using UK HRMS Manager responsibility or similar
2. Navigate to: Statutory Absence > Person Details > Enter employee details > Select 'Others' menu > Maternity > Absence
3. Record the absence details and Click on Enroll Absence button
4. Above error occurs on screen

NOTE: A similar error can be encountered in the logs if submitting the concurrent process "Participation Process: Absence"
