Goal
In 12.2.9, new functionality was added to group work orders for the same ATO item and create one single work order for the consolidated quantities of multiple sales order lines for the same Item. Can a one-off patch be released for 12.2.6 to get this functionality without upgrading to 12.2.9?
Customer reported that this is important for their business operations since the same ship-able star item exists on multiple sales order lines within a top level configuration and they want to consolidate/group the work orders by assembly/star part number, project, task, etc. Currently, the WICDOL does not have the grouping parameter that's referenced in <note 2742090.1>.
