On : 12.2.10 version, Patch Application Issues

Release 12.2 upgrade driver failis on invcatl.odf when trying to create a unique index MTL_ITEM_CATALOG_GROUPS_B_U1 on MTL_ITEM_CATALOG_GROUPS_B (ITEM_CATALOG_GROUP_ID, PARENT_CATALOG_GROUP_ID) .

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Apply 12.2. upgrade patch.
2. See the worker fails on invcatl.odf
3. Review below errors in the adworker log.

CREATE UNIQUE INDEX INV."MTL_ITEM_CATALOG_GROUPS_B_U1" ON
 INV.MTL_ITEM_CATALOG_GROUPS_B (ITEM_CATALOG_GROUP_ID,
 PARENT_CATALOG_GROUP_ID) LOGGING STORAGE (FREELIST GROUPS 4 FREELISTS 4 )
 PCTFREE 10 INITRANS 11 MAXTRANS 255 COMPUTE STATISTICS TABLESPACE
 APPS_TS_TX_IDX

Statement executed.

AD Worker error:
The index cannot be created as the table has duplicate keys.

Use the following SQL statement to identify the duplicate keys:

SELECT ITEM_CATALOG_GROUP_ID, PARENT_CATALOG_GROUP_ID, count(*)
  FROM INV.MTL_ITEM_CATALOG_GROUPS_B
GROUP BY ITEM_CATALOG_GROUP_ID, PARENT_CATALOG_GROUP_ID
  HAVING count(*)>1

AD Worker error:
Unable to compare or correct tables or indexes or keys
  because of the error above.
