In Oracle iSupplier Portal / Supplier Lifecycle Management, Add Attachments feature is Missing After Upgrade From Release 12.1.3 to Release 12.2.5 and higher (Doc ID 2849272.1)

Last updated on MARCH 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle iSupplier Portal - Version 12.2.5 and later
Oracle Supplier Lifecycle Management - Version 12.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle iSupplier Portal / Supplier Lifecycle Management, Release 12.2.5 and later, the ability to add attachments to the new supplier requests is missing.

In Release 12.1.3, the Add Attachment button is there.
Now, after having upgraded to Release 12.2.5 or higher, the Add Attachment feature is missing.

Due to this issue, the internal supplier administrators cannot add attachments to the new supplier requests. This is an important part of the supplier registration for the business and therefore the supplier registrations cannot be completed and approved.

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps in the R12.2.x environment:
1. Log in to Oracle Applications.
2. Navigate to the custom iSupplier Portal Internal View responsibility or other custom responsibility > Supplier Registration Request.
3. On the New Supplier Requests page, select the desired new supplier request by clicking the Review icon. (Note - all of the requests have Registration Purpose = "New Supplier")
4. On the New Supplier Request page for the selected supplier, scroll through the page. The expected "Attachments" region is missing and the Add Attachment button is not visible, either.

Changes

Upgrade from Oracle Applications Release 12.1.3 to Release 12.2.5 (or higher).
