Symptoms

During pick release, Sales Order lines are getting backordered even though enough on hand exists. This happens for a lot indivisible item with a detailed reservation on partial quantity and when on hand exists in multiple lots.

ERROR

Pick Release process could not allocate X of item XXXX for order XXXXX as there was insufficient quantity available Or Inventory allocations have failed, and the line has been back ordered.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Pick Release with a rule or a specific order.
