Error Opening Word Attachments When Uploaded Through Forms And iSupport (Doc ID 2850370.1)

When attempting to open Word documents uploaded as attachments from the Service Request form or uploaded through iSupport, the error below is displayed.

Word experienced an error trying to open the file.
Try these suggestions.
*Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
*Make sure there is sufficient memory and disk space.
*Open the file with the Text Recovery converter.


(R) Service
(N) Service Requests > Find/Create Service Requests

1. Query the Service Request (SR)
2. Upload attachments to SR
3. Open the Attachment that was just uploaded and the error above is displayed by Word when trying to open the document.

This error is also seen when using the iSupport Employee User responsibility after uploading attachments.
