Claim Cannot Be Split When Accessing Straight From The Collection’s Module Responsibility - Error: Customer information is missing for a claim (Doc ID 2852748.1)

On : 12.2.10 version, Collections Agent UI

When attempting to drill down to Trade Management Claims from Advanced Collections the following error occurs.

Customer information is missing for a claim.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Collections Agent > Collections
2. Click flashlight, search for Organization = Goodway, click search
3. From collections form, click Accounts tab
4. Select Goodway Account, then click View Open Lines Listing
5. Click on claim DEDXXXXX
6. This opens Trade Management Claims update screen.
7. Click split tab, enter amount 
8. Click update.
9. Error: Customer information is missing for a claim.
