Symptoms
When attempting to create a work order, the following error occurs.
ERROR
Operation dates fall outside defined calendar days
Cause: Oracle Work In Process is unable to schedule your job or schedule because operation dates fall outside defined calendar dates.
Action: You can define additional calendar dates in Oracle Bill of Materials or decrease your job or schedule quantity
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Work in process Responsibility
2. Go to Discrete->discrete jobs
3. Try to create the job and save with Completion date.
4. The error appears.
