G-Invoicing - Intragovernmental Agreements (GT&C) Interface Prog Errors When There Are Multiple Requesting Agency ALCs: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small (Doc ID 2862125.1)

Last updated on MARCH 06, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Project Billing - Version 12.2.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

GT&Cs cannot be pulled into the servicing side (Projects) when the GT&C contains multiple ALCs (Agency Location Code) for the requesting agency.

This feature has been available since Phase II of the G-Invoicing solution.

However, when looking up the record type IGT_GTC_REC in the package PA_IGT_GTC_PKG, it is defined as type VARCHAR2(8), which can accommodate only one ALC.

Reproduce By Steps

1. Create a new GT&C with multiple ALCs for Servicing Agencies
2. Place an Order against this GT&C and pull GT&C, Order
3. Run the concurrent program Intragovernmental Agreements (GT&C) Interface Prog and receive the following error.
