UPK: Client Error: "The content type text/html; charset=utf-8 of the response message does not match the content type of the binding (text/xml; charset=utf-8)" (Doc ID 2864414.1)

Symptoms

Migrated UPK software to a new Windows 2012R2 server. 

After the installation was completed, the database connection string was decrypted, and the password was changed to a secure password.

When launching the UPK client to connect to the UPK Library the following error message:
 

ERROR

"The content type text/html; charset=utf-8 of the response message does not match the content type of the binding (text/xml; charset=utf-8)."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps

1. Launch UPK Client from the desktop.   Start - > User Productivity Kit Client.
2. Complete the Profile Wizard with Library location and log in details.
3. Error message displays

 

Changes

 After the installation was completed the database password was changed to a secure password.
