Unable to update the Lot Size on the Item Costs Summary form

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The customer indicated they performed the steps contained in note Costing Lot Size From Item Master NOT Being Used As Part Of Cost Roll Up (Doc ID 2160590.1), to update the Lot Size in item Costs Summary form.
But, the Lot Size never successfully updated.
Also, the customer tried updating the Lot Size in the Costing tab of the Item Attributes and performing a Cost Update and this did not successfully work, either.
As a result, the customer has not been able to update the Lot Size for the Frozen Cost Type, on the Item Cost Summary form.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The customer expects to be able to successfully update the Lot Size in the Item Cost Summary form.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Cost management - SLA
2. Navigate to the Item Cost Summary form > item cost, update the Lot Size field in a User Defined Cost Type (in this case, the customer used the Pending Cost Type).
3. Perform a Cost Rollup in the User Defined Cost Type that was updated.
4. Perform a Cost update from the User Defined Cost Type that was updated.
5. Perform a check of the system and see the Standard Lot Size for Frozen Cost was not successfully updated.
6. Also, the customer tried changing the Standard Lot Size in the Costing tab of the Item Attributes in both the Master and Inventory Org. and they see the Lot Size did not update in the Frozen Cost Type.
