Cannot Assign a Contract to a Sales Order if the Contract Number is Longer Than 20 Characters (Doc ID 2864782.1)

Symptoms

When attaching an existing service contract to a service line in the Service Contracts Details form, the following error occurs:

Error
ORA-01403: no data found

FRM-40735: ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06502.

Steps
1. Using an Order Management responsibility, open the Sales Orders form.
2. Enter a Sales Order and add a Service line.
3. Click the "Actions" and select "Service Contract Details".
4. Click the "Existing" radio button.
5. Use the contract number LOV and pick a contract number that is more than 20 characters long and click on OK.
6. Click the Save Icon.
7. Get the indicated error.
