iRecruitment Vacancy Approval Process - Transfer Request for More Information Causing Page Error: You Are Trying To Access A Page That Is No Longer Active

Symptoms
On : 12.2.7 version R12.HR_PF.C.Delta.12
When trying to use "Transfer Request for More Information" during iRecruitment Vacancy Approval Process,
the following error appears on page
ERROR
You are trying to access a page that is no longer active.
The referring page must have come from a previous screen. Please select Home to proceed.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login using "iRecruitment Manager" responsibility
2. Navigate to Recruitment Home -> Create a Vacancy and enter the details and submit it for approval
3. Login as 1st approver and approve the notification
4. Login as 2nd approver and select "Request More Information" button
5. Now the notification goes back to the 1st approver
6. Login as 1st approver and under the "Response" region in the workflow notification, select the "Transfer Request for More Information" radio button
7. Then select the Employee whom it must be transferred
8. Encounter the above error
