Site Management Role Assignments Not Returned When Populating Username or Group Field (Doc ID 2867277.1)

Symptoms


Actual Behavior

On the Role Assignments screen if User populates the 'User Name/Group' via the LOV then they don't see role assignments returned.  To workaround this, if User
manually enters name or partial name straight to the field, then User sees the expected Role assignments returned.  So the issue is with using the 'User Name/Group'
LOV and not the fact the roles don't exist for a user.

Steps:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Site Management Administrator > Setup > Role Security
2. Search for User
3. Prior Role Assignments are missing
