When Query By Example Learner Group Get Error Java.Sql.SQLException: Invalid Column Type (Doc ID 2867523.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to do a search using Query by Example icon on Learner Group page, the following error occurs:

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Using Oracle Learning Management Administrator responsibility
2. Navigate to Catalog Administration > Setup Tab
3. Go to Groups > Learner Groups link
4. Select Query by Example icon
5. Enter a value for Start Date > press enter
6. Results returned - no error
7. Search again using multiple fields: Learner group name and Start date > press enter
8. Get error

 Upgrade to 12.2 HRMS RUP 15
