The Status Change Form is Interpreting the Year 2050 as 1950 (Doc ID 2871034.1)

Last updated on MAY 19, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Service Contracts - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Status Change form is interpreting contracts with an end date of 2050 as ending in 1950 and not showing valid statuses like "Active" in the LOV. The Status Change form should understand the dates in 2050 and not interpret them as being 1950.

Steps
1. Using a Service Contracts responsibility, create a Service Contract with end date in 2050.
2. Activate it the contract.
3. Put the same contract on Hold using the Status Change form.
4. Attempt to release the hold by changing status to Active using the Status Change form.
5. The LOV does not offer Active, but will only offer Expired or another hold type.
