Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When a shipment is step tendered and a carrier accepts the tender, OTM automatically changes the rate offering and rate record that is planned for the shipment to the cheapest available rate available, even if it different than what it was originally planned for.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is expected that the same rate offering and rate record are maintained on the planned shipment throughout the step tendering process.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Plan a shipment in OTM to a carrier with multiple rates. In this example, a carrier will have rate A and rate B and the shipment is originally planned with rate A (rate B is cheaper)
2. Step tender the shipment where the carrier with rate A and rate B is first carrier considered during tendering.
3. As the carrier, accept the step tender
4. OTM redrives the shipment and plans the shipment with rate B , although the step tender was for rate A. It is expected that rate A is maintained on the shipment.
