QPXPRMLS : How to use Promotional Modifier as a Qualifier for Another Modifier (Doc ID 287509.1)

Last updated on MAY 31, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Pricing - Version 11.5.10 to 12.2.2 [Release 11.5 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The user wants to apply two automatic, promotional modifiers, set up as follows:

Promotion Modifier 1 - XXXX
Promotion Modifier 2 - YYYY (having qualifier as Promotional Number with value as XXXX)

The Second modifier YYYY is not getting applied to the order, as the qualifier
(Promotional Number) is not sourced at runtime.

The reason is that the qualifier attribute "Promotional Number" is not mapped.
The "Attribute Mapping" method is "User Entered", therefore the pricing engine will
not evaluate it during the pricing call.
