TMS_INTERFACE_FLAG Remaining in ASP Status After Backordering Delivery Detail During Ship Confirm (Doc ID 2876377.1)

Find that the TMS_INTERFACE_FLAG remains in status ASP (Shipment in Process) in the WSH_TRIP_STOPS table after completing Order Shipment Confirmation in Oracle Transportation Management(OTM).
It occurs where one of the delivery detail lines is backordered at ship confirm thereby unassigning the delivery.  It is noticed that the stop record still exists on the trip.

Why is the TMS_INTERFACE_FLAG not changing to status 'DR'(DELETE_REQUIRED)at the time the delivery detail line has been backordered at ship confirm?
