Error When Uploading Contract Documents on Repository Contracts

Symptoms
When attempting to add a new Document to a Repository Contract, the following error occurs.
ERROR
Program Error: An unexpected error was encountered. Error code - -6502 Error message - ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small Action: Please contact your system administrator
STEPS
1. Using the Contract Workbench Administrator responsibility, navigate: Contracts > Contracts
2. The Contract Workbench page opens.
3. Search for a contract in Draft status and open it.
4. Navigate to the Documents tab.
5. Select the Document Category of "Contract Image".
6. Browse to an image file on the PC.
7. Click the "Apply" button.
8. Get the indicated error.
