How to Enable Cum Calculations for Non-RLM Orders? (Doc ID 2876961.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Shipping Execution - Version 12.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customer's plant does not have RLM enabled in their system. However, plant has the requirement of sending CUM shipped qty for the items in the DSNO outbound downstream. The downstream reconciliation of DSNO and plant’s customer’s systems will fail without the CUM values, and lead to contract failures, as there are timing constraints for the receipt of the DSNO at the downstream system. Plant wants to avoid customizations for the CUM calculations and wants to use the standard Oracle Algorithm of calculating the CUMs after the ITS runs, before DSNO triggers.

What setups can be performed to enable CUM calculations for such orders in the plant? CUM gets calculated in the ordering system, however the DSNO is sent from the plant system.
