Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
GLRXCKJ: Journals - Check

Symptoms

Journal - check report concurrent request is ending in warning for one specific journal batch.
This is working for all other journal batches, issue is specific to one journal batch.

Data in this specific journal batch is found to have a journal header with a single journal line that has only a Debit 0.00 value. That is the only journal line associated to the journal header.
A journal batch with a journal having Debit 0.00 and Credit 0.00 lines (no other lines) will generate the report without issue. Issue is specific to the single line journal that is 0.00 in value.

The log file of the concurrent request that ends in warning shows the following:

Post-processing of request ######## failed at DD-MON-YYYY with the error message:
One or more post-processing actions failed. Consult the OPP service log for details.

-- PUBLISH:
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.opp.PostProcessorException: oracle.apps.xdo.XDOException

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into General Ledger.
2. Submit report - Report>Request>Standard
3. Choose Journals-Check
4. Choose problem batch and submit the report.
5. The report ends in warning. The log file shows the message noted below and the report output is created but is raw XML not the formatted report output expected.

Post-processing of request ######## failed at DD-MON-YYYY with the error message:
One or more post-processing actions failed. Consult the OPP service log for details.

-- PUBLISH:
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.opp.PostProcessorException: oracle.apps.xdo.XDOException
