Symptoms

When Importing Items from interface by running program Item Import, the following error occurs.

TABLE NAME : MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE
COLUMN NAME :
MESSAGE NAME : BOM_PARSE_ITEM_ERROR
ERROR MESSAGE : INVPAGI2.assign_item_header_recs:ORA-08006: specified row no longer exists

TRANSACTION ID : -1
ORGANIZATION ID : -1
TABLE NAME : MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE
COLUMN NAME :
MESSAGE NAME : INV_IOI_ERR_ASS_ITM_HD_RVS
ERROR MESSAGE : *** BAD RETURN CODE b ***

Data in the Mtl_System_Items_Interface table shows:  Process Flag = 4, meaning 'Validation succeeded/import failed'

STEPS
1. Load data into MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE
2. Inventory > Items > Import > Import Items > Run the program
3. Check concurrent request log for  errors > See > INVPAGI2.assign_item_header_recs:ORA-08006: specified row no longer exists
