Symptoms

User sees an error every time when trying to change product lifecycle using WebADI (Excel)

ERROR

The specified Lifecycle Phase is invalid. Please select a valid Lifecycle Phase.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Development Manager responsibility > Item Catalog > Advanced search >
2. Search by Item Catalog Category (ICC) with Filter "All" organizations.
3. Select Display format >  Test1 Lifecycle (Includes few item attributes and lifecycle phase, but not lifecyle).
4. Download items to Excel , Update Item phase from 'Production' to 'Definition'.
5. Oracle > Upload > See records are imported from Excel and Ego spreadsheet java concurrent program is launched, > But, this completes in warning/

Log shows that the item phase changes were not made and Mtl_interface_errors shows message 'The specified Lifecycle Phase is invalid. Please select a valid Lifecycle Phase.'

What is working

There are no errors when updating the same item from the Item Overview > Lifecycle page > Update phase and status > Save.
