Mobile Approvals App for EBS is Throwing an Error When a Manager Tries to Approve or Reject. (Doc ID 2886351.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Mobile App - Approvals app for EBS is throwing an error when a manager tries to approve or reject the timecard.

The same error is also seen in the web application in 12.2.10 version when the manager logs in to EBS, clicks on the notification bell icon and tries to approve or reject from there.

Approval feature is working when opened from notification or worklist menu. It does not work when clicking on the bell icon to approve from there or from the mobile app.

The specific approval notification detail and actions are not available from this mobile application. Please access E-business Suite Self-service Worklist application to view the approval notification details to take action

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login to Approvals for EBS mobile app as a manager.

  2.  View the Pending approvals and click on Approve or Reject button on the timecard.

  3.  An error occurs.
