Trade Management Mass Settlement Error "Amount Settled Is Invalid" (Doc ID 2886933.1)

Symptoms

 

When attempting to clear certain amount of "Open Claims " with "Open Transaction
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
"Amount settled is invalid"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Applications and Go to Oracle Trade Management User responsibility
2. Navigate to Channel Revenue Management >Claim >Mass settlement
3. Enter details on Search Open Claims and Transactions then move to Select Settlement Methods
4. Enter the amount for On account Credit and click next.

Observe the error
