Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Other Inventory Issues

When assigning the item to organization the following error occurs:

APP-FND-01934: ORA-00001: unique constraint (ENI.ENI_OLTP_ITEM_STAR_U3) violated in Package ENI_ITEMS_STAR_PKG Procedure INSERT_ITEMS_IN_STAR


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate: Inventory > Items > Master Item
  2. Query form an item
  3. Choose menu option Tools > Organization Assignment
  4. Check the checkbox next to any organization to assign to.
  5. Save and get the error.
