Last updated on AUGUST 08, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Time and Labor - Version 12.2.10 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.2.10 version, Performance
Unable to create timecard using Timekeeper, after enabling absence integration.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Set System profile option "HR: Absences Integration with OTL" to Yes
2. Run "Generate Flexfield and Mapping Information" with "Include Absence Information" = Yes.
This process populates the table hxc_absence_type_elements which appears to be causing the performance issue.
3 After timecard details are entered and clicked save, the session hangs and time entries are never created
4. Provide actual versus expected timing -> less than 1 second
actual -> never completes.
