Error When Trying To Open PO Approval Notification: "You cannot enable FND Validation in AK Mode" (Doc ID 2890853.1)

Symptoms

When user clicks on Purchase Order PO for approval, system showing the following error:
  

ERROR
-----------------------
You cannot enable FND Validation in AK Mode.

Please set the profile option FND Validation Level to None.

 
This happened all of a sudden.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
---------------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create PO > Submit it for approval
  2. Approver received the notification and opens it. Error occurs.
