Message displayed while querying LOV to add Item to a Pricelist

"Its a long list. Enter partial segment values to shorten it."
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order management > Pricing > Price Lists > Price List Setup > Query for price list > Click to add a new line
2. Open the Item LOV and query for 002417% > See message.
