Last updated on JANUARY 08, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle Mobile Application Server - Version 12.2.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.9 version, Oracle Mobile Applications related issues

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When doing sub inventory transfer in the MSCA and MWA Applications, unable to scan the DFI Code from the sub inventory fields.
This was working well when we were using 12.1. 3 version and the problem occurs in the upgraded (12.2.9) instance.

Example:

DFI for "subinventory", is setup as 1L. However, when we scan a barcode that starts with 1L, it works fine in the FROM SUB field, but when we scan it into the TO SUB field, it just comes up completely blank.

So as an example, when we do a subinventory transfer, the Subinventory is called FG. Our barcode actually reads 1LFG. When we scan that into the FROM SUB field, it works fine and strips off the 1L and places FG into the field.

But then we get down to the TO SUB field and scan the same 1LFG barcode, it just stays blank and won't place any data into the field. The cursor stays in the same field, and the field stays blank.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

When doing sub inventory transfer in the MSCA and MWA Applications, should be able to scan the DFI Code from the sub inventory fields.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Mobile > Inventory > Sub-inventory transfer
2. Scan a barcode that starts with 1L, it works fine in the FROM SUB field, but when we scan it into the TO SUB field, it just comes up completely blank.
